i neglected my blog for like a month!! anyway.. here are some updates..

August 17

- went around to buy cakes for my party

- went with toni to galleria to look at his much coveted watch..

August 18

- went to uap to give the invitations

- fit my clothes

August 19

- fit my clothes again

- went to the mall to have my nails cut and my foot spa..

- met up with toni & jomie .. he bought the watch already!

- went to powerplant for the food tasting

August 20

- my dad's oath taking at malacanang

- went to oliver to fit my top

- went to galleria and i bought black sandals.. the girly kind.. (i'm 18 na e.. dalaga na.. )

- met up with loise and camille to watch the A Cinderella Story for the 2nd time

- went to eastwood to drink (sana) but they told us that our bottle wasn't there anymore.. fuckin waiters..

- went home for last minute thingies for my party

August 21

-woke up at 8 for my dental appointment

- got my cakes

- met up with chris and isabelle for the invitation

- went to wack wack to get the money for the drinks

- went to patis to have my top fixed

- woke up at 7 and checked on my friends i was with last night

- went to araneta to watch the ADMU-DLSU game.. too bad ateneo lost.. but its ok.. you guys still look better.. specially MY Paolo Bugia.. haha.. don't react.. i know..

- rowell de vera = chris tiu from upper A view .. haha

-went to wack-wack to drop kuya allan off and fetch lola

- back home and checked my email & blog after decades of not checking it..

I'm Back!!

just got home last sunday!! i was so excited to see my friends that i invited achi over and then we went to iya's house. then we went to katipunan for my haircut and then we just texted some friends we could visit. luckily there were a lot from ateneo who were available.. so we went there and i met up with yani and kat.. and then maxx called, we had to park and meet up with her at xavier hall.. i saw maxie, jaime, sam, kc, therine, regina, jolo, ramlo, denise, dan, mariad, and a whole lot more!! by about 2p, we went to kat's house to chill for a while and then after that we met up with arlyn and gelai at world topps.. it was just so crazy.. we were so noisy!! suddenly, at the back of my mind i was wishing that i could spend college here in the PI.

so tuesday, i met up with my friends in UA&P. there i saw jomie, loise, mykka, camille, herbie, kish, & gail. and i stayed there until 8p, and i met alot of people too.. it was uber fun.. camille brought me home.. i missed them sooooo much!!

wednesday, i went to katipunan again for a lunch date with my friends.. sasa also went there. after a while, we had to go to ortigas to get my form from BPI. and then we went back to katipunan and chilled at starbucks. unfortunately, sasa had to leave early so i was left in starbucks. i just waited for kat & yani. we went to seattle's best to meet up with denise and then off to shakey's to eat dinner. after dinner, we decided to go to national bookstore to buy some stuff. on our way there, somebody called me and it was toni manahan. he was chilling at chiggy's with his friend mj. i brought kat & denise home first and then went back to chiggy's to chill.. it took me an uber long time to go back because the battery of my car was like loose or something, so i had to ask help from the drivers around. about 8:30p, i was back at chiggy's. it was soooo fun.. my first drinking session here.. haha.. we were talking about their new linggo and how black toni was.. and how their blockmates speak.. people were already looking at us but we just laughed the night away.. haha.. they were influencing me with the kaldereta, kare-kare, adobo and afritada.. haha.. you say that in a slang kind of way.. it was just so funny.. at about 10p, we decided to go home. and since we were all going to the same direction, we decided to convoy. (mj lives in antipolo, toni in cainta, me in marikina) i almost crashed into toni's car because of the taxi beside me!! whew! but we continued shouting "NEW JERSEY PEACE!!" haha!!

today, i'm guna be watching the game of admu with my cousin, tin. i just finished excercising.. need to sweat off the fats.. haha.. gaud.. crazy..

Congratulations ATENEO!! ONE BIG FIGHT!

for the first time in 4 years i wasnt able to watch the admu-dlsu game.. its already 6:46a here in the states and i haven't drifted to dreamland yet.. but its all good.. thanks to my cousin's gf and my classmate, kat arandela for updating me.. yahoo.. sorry phoebe, we won!

Things learned from intergender friendships

THE PREMISE of this article lies on the principle that sometimes, loving a person doesn't mean it has to be romantic and loving a person for the rest of your life doesn't mean you have to end up marrying them. Can a man and a woman just be friends? I'd say yes and they should be.

Not every guy who befriends you has an ulterior motive. Get over yourself. Don't flatter yourself. There is a reason why he befriended you, but don't automatically assume that it's because he wants to be your so-called boyfriend. If this will be the principle you'll follow every time someone asks you to be his friend, you're gonna miss a great deal from the friendship.

There are people who are naturally sweet and kind. There are people who are innately good and no matter how wicked you seem, they just find it so easy to be kind to you. It doesn't mean he is courting you. Don't put yourself through unnecessary stress trying to figure out if he's courting you or not. Because I think if he is, you won't have to guess, you'll know and you'll be very certain about it.

You don't befriend a person if you absolutely abhor him, right? Chances are you make sense when he talks to you, or you're probably very patient listening to him. The two of you probably connect on some level but why does it always have to be assumed to be romantic? Being two intelligent, mature human beings, you need to accept that it's nice to share a cup of coffee over a stimulating conversation, and that you don't have to automatically put romantic connotation to it. Relieve yourself of the pressure. It's just coffee and a shared interest.

This is the most amusing thing that hit me lately. People always assume that because your friend is cute or should I say, hot (because cute is a word you describe your high school crush while hot is a word you use to describe a hunk), "lakas amats mo na for repapips!" Let me just say this, at least from my own personal experience, I'm just nearsighted, I haven't gone blind. I can still appreciate God's creation! However, there will always be weird things, crazy things, stupid things that will keep you, believe me, from having a crush on him. First of all, you'd know his history with women, enough to judge what's good for you. Second, don't you just hate it when a guy who's absolutely always put together, who looks intelligent enough pronounces the word country as "kawntri" and the word mango as "meynggo." Call me crazy for judging a person just because he can't pronounce these words right. I admit, I'm crazy.

Self-explanatory... There are a thousand, no million different reasons why things don't always turn out that way. There is no one proven formula. For all we know, the reason why he likes hanging out with you is because he likes getting kikay tips from you. He probably plans on being kikay himself and he needs a mentor.

A dinner with a guy friend does not necessarily mean equate to a date. Especially if you're paying for your share no. Hello? Three things to consider: the place, the topic and how the two of you actually planned to meet. First, how it was planned. If it were a date expect that he would ask you out at least three days before the actual date to give you some lead time, to give you the notion that you are not just a filler on his schedule. Second, the place. If it were a real date, the both of you would want real food and a place where you could really talk things through. Don't go out with a guy to a movie on Friday night if you're really serious about him. Going to a movie is more like treating him like a "filler" just because you had nothing to do on a Friday night so you might as well go out. Topic. Ha! You wouldn't be talking about chikang artista, chikang opisina or argue if the one girl's boobs are real or not. You would be probably talking about sensible, quite personal stuff.

I therefore conclude that platonic relationships are never complicated; people just have tendencies to complicate them.

Eat . . Sleep . . Watch movies . .

i'm having a hard time to sleep these past few days.. for the 3rd day already, i slept at 6a.

we just stayed at home yesterday and then ordered some chinese food. at about 6:30p, we went to china town in new york to eat dinner. we went home and rented some dvds. we watched honey and the barber shop. nice movies.

we all went to bed by 3a but i wasn't able to sleep til 6a. i woke up at 2:30p already! we ate crispy pata, egg and bacon for lunch! yum!

after our late lunch, we watched all my life that ate sunshine bought from the Filipino store. i cried a lot! haha.. whats new.. we'll be going home later on..

i might come home next friday!!
